Where I visited
A college friend's home base - dinner with his family, a Friday night football game, and a last breakfast before flying home.
A full day of Dallas football and food - The Star, an SMU tailgate, Korean dinner, and pickleball into the early morning.
Church, shopping, and dinner with friends around the city.
Day by day
Flew out at 12:30pm and landed in Dallas by 3:15. Got to a friend's place by 4, then dinner at Taco Joint with him, another friend, and his mom. Spent the evening at a varsity football game where his sister was cheerleading. Asleep around 1am.
Started at The Star with a friend around 10, then tailgated an SMU game that afternoon with a few friends. Dinner was Korean food at Hanshin Pocha with another group of friends, followed by a late round of pickleball. Didn't get to bed until 5:30am - a long one, but a good one.
Breakfast with a friend at Original Pancake House in the morning, then church with him at Watermark Community Church. Lunch with another friend out at the Galleria - In-N-Out, easily the highlight of the day food-wise - and dinner later with friends at Yorienn Chicken. Back to my friend's place in Frisco and asleep by 11:30.
One last breakfast with a friend at Starwood Diner before heading to the airport. Flew out at 11am and landed back in New York by 3:15. Four days, a lot of friends, not enough sleep.
